Welcome

Welcome to my blog. I’ve dedicated it to documenting my experience, research, journey in building my very own Hauptwerk Pipe Organ.

I’ve gotten to meet some very interesting (and VERY helpful) people and learned lots of new things by starting this project of building my own pipe organ and thought I would share it with you. Hope you enjoy!

Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions or comments! 🙂

Edit: May 2021.I realize that over time this site has become a bit… much and not the easiest to navigate. It’s a spur of the moment product and pretty raw. Apologize for that. May or may not work on making it better at some point in the near or not very near future. The information is here for those who are interested. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any specific questions tho. I do still get notifications and will reply as time permits. Cheers!!

  1. Just came across your website, the PIC-1 installation page really looks great. I was wondering if it would be ok to add a like to our website.

    • Hey! Not sure what you mean by “add a like to your website”, but sure? If you meant add a link I think I already did let me check again. Thanks!

    • Hi, yes just added another link to the “items needed” section of the PIC-1 installation page. DTS systems is also linked under my links under MIDI encoder systems as well as my page I made when I got the encoder in the mail! The PC-1 is working GREAT, it was easy to install and so far haven’t had any problems with it. I’m looking for swell shoes right now to install as well.

  2. Hi joe. I bought the wrong pots. My swell shoes were just delivered yesterday and I was so excited that j didn’t double check what ohm I needed and bought the 20k ones. Will they work or is that absolutely out of the question and I should just return and get 5k ones? Thanks for your help!

  3. i CHECKED WITH THE ENGINEERING DEPATMENT AND THEY SAID THAT 5k WOULD BE BEST, BUT THE 20K POT WILL WORK WITH POSSABLE REDUCED ACTION.
